Coating of Glass & Ceramics

A transparent and robust anti-adhesive coating for glass and ceramic materials has been developed at IMST. The coating prevents protein and microbe adhesion on the surface through its intrinsic physico-chemical properties. The thin films of a few 100 nanometers thickness are processed at temperatures not exceeding 70°, are wipe-proof and resistant against detergents and other cleaning products.
